PALMER, Frank Robert "Bob"

PALMER - Frank Robert "Bob" Age 80, of Buffalo, NY, passed away, Friday, April 1, 2016. Frank was born March 14, 1936 in Buffalo to Vertner and Estelle (Adamczak) Palmer. Frank proudly served our nation as a member of the US Navy and always spoke fondly of his time aboard the USS Medregal (SS-480) homeported in Norfolk, Va and Pearl Harbor, HI. Upon completion of his naval service, he was employed as a railroad freight conductor for Erie Lackawanna/Conrail/CSX Railways for over 40 years and retired in 2001. He was a Master Mason and a longtime member of the Master Hiram Lodge 105. After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling and visiting his daughters and granddaughter. Frank is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl Conder (James) of Hemet, CA, Suzan Dussault (Paul) of Chula Vista, CA and his granddaughter, Karla Fuller Palmer of Tacoma, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of his life will occur at 9:00 AM, June 17, 2016 at The Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park.
