Samantha Fish to play the Tralf
The Tralf Music Hall (622 Main St.) announced a June 6 appearance by much buzzed-about blues/roots/soul singer and guitarist Samantha Fish.
Tickets are $12-$15 and go on sale at 10 a.m. April 22 (box office, Ticketmaster).
Fish - whose latest release, "Wild Heart," was produced by North Mississippi Allstars/Black Crowes guitarist Luther Dickson, and features renowned drummer Brady Blade - is only in her mid-20s, but boasts a musical maturity and depth of soulfulness more common to musicians twice her age.
She's got incredible chops, as both singer and guitarist, but clearly, her greatest gift is the raw passion and gritty heart she brings to her performances. For proof, check out this jaw-dropping take on "I Put A Spell On You."
