Speeding stop leads to aggravated DWI charge

A 34-year-old Cheektowaga man received multiple charges early Sunday after allegedly speeding in the Village of Brocton, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Daniel M. Deppa was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated for having a blood alcohol level of .18 percent or higher, speed in zone and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle after Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies stopped him shortly before 3 a.m. on Route 20.

He was an issued an appearance ticket for the Village of Brocton Court.
