Kathy Kelly, founder of Voices for Creative Nonviolence and a two-time nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Daemen College’s Wick Center, 4380 Main St.
Kelly’s talk will focus on lessons learned in Central and South America, the Middle East and Central Asia. It is sponsored by the Western New York Peace Center.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door and free for students with ID. Proceeds will benefit the Latin American Solidarity Committee’s humanitarian aid efforts.
