LOCKPORT – A North Tonawanda teenager is headed for state prison for beating a man with a metal bat.
Jacob M. Milliron, 18, of Washington Street, pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree assault. Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon promised him a prison term of no more than five years when he returns to court June 16.
Milliron attacked the victim Oct. 31 in North Tonawanda and has been in the County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail ever since. Sheldon said Milliron has been in and out of mental health treatment since age 6. Milliron said he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder.
