The Town of West Seneca and Save the Michaels of the World are coming together with local leaders and experts in the field of addiction to host Addiction in Our Zip Code, a free, educational presentation and forum focused on the prescription opioid and heroin epidemic in Western New York.

The forum, announced last week by Town Supervisor Sheila M. Meegan, will take place at 6:30 p.m. April 20 at the West Seneca Senior Center, 4620 Seneca St. Doors open at 6 p.m.

This week:

• The Town Board meets Monday at 3 p.m. for a work session, followed by a regular meeting at 7 p.m. in Town Hall, 1250 Union Road.

• A prom and homecoming dress fashion show and sale will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdayin the auditorium at West Seneca West High School, 3330 Seneca St. The event is open to the public. Admission is $2.

• The Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday in Town Hall.
