NCCC to stage 'Romeo and Juliet'

SANBORN – The Niagara County Community College Theatre Arts Program will present “Romeo and Juliet” April 14 through April 24 in the NCCC Main Theatre (3111 Saunders Settlement Road).

Director Kate LoConti leads a cast of 15 in this modern take on Shakespeare’s most beloved tragedy.

The show will run at 7:30 p.m. April 14 through 16, and on April 21 and April 22; at 2 p.m. April 17 and April 24; and at 10 a.m. April 20.

On April 23, as part of the college-wide Shakespeare Festival, the performance will include hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. prepared by the NCCC Culinary Arts students, and musical entertainment by the Zoe Players, a 7 p.m. performance of “Romeo and Juliet” and a post-show talkback with the performers and the director.

Tickets for theater performances are: $10 general admission; $5 seniors and alumni; and free for NCCC students and staff with ID. Tickets are available by calling 614-5960, visiting the box office one hour prior to the show or through this link.
