Falls man pleads guilty to family felony

LOCKPORT – Richard K. Conklin, 59, of Portage Road, Niagara Falls, pleaded guilty Thursday to a felony for violating an order of protection by visiting the home of his estranged wife in the Falls Nov. 12.

Conklin admitted to one count of aggravated family offense. Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon promised a sentence of no longer than a year in the County Jail, with sentencing set for June 9. The legal maximum for the charge is four years in state prison.
