Falls man indicted in major heroin deal

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man pleaded not guilty Thursday to an indictment accusing him of making an $11,200 heroin deal.

Gerald J. Kelly, 56, of Rainbow Boulevard, is charged with second-degree sale and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Assistant District Attorney Peter M. Wydysh said Kelly sold 1.95 ounces of heroin to a police informant Nov. 18 in a Town of Niagara home. He said Kelly was paid $5,200 and was owed $6,000 more for the heroin.
