Falls man sentenced in child porn case

A 37-year-old Niagara Falls man was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison for possessing child pornography, said U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr.

Jeremy Scouten was arrested in August 2012 after authorities recovered from his computer 200 images and 17 videos of child pornography. Some of the images included children under age 12 depicted in violent situations, said Assistant U.S. Attorneys Stephanie Lamarque and Kathleen A. Lynch.
