Two doctor’s buildings in Kenmore sold

A local dermatologist who joined Buffalo Medical Group in 2009 after nearly 30 years of private practice in Kenmore has sold his original Delaware Avenue building to a dental practice.

Hannon and Piazza DDS paid $350,000 to acquire the 4,769-square-foot freestanding medical office at 3839 Delaware Ave. from Dr. Kevin B. Kulick, said David Schiller of Pyramid Brokerage Co., who handled the sale. The tan brick building, which includes about 21 parking spaces, sits on a 0.34-acre parcel between Delaware Avenue and Delaware Road, just south of Brighton Road. It was built in 1955.

Kulick has moved his practice to 325 Essjay Road, on Buffalo Medical’s primary Amherst campus.

Coincidentally, another Buffalo Medical physician, Dr. Dominic A. Cimato, had previously owned a freestanding building just to the north at 3849 Delaware, but similarly relocated to Essjay and also sold his facility last year, to an insurance company, Schiller said.

“Freestanding buildings on major thoroughfares like Delaware remain very attractive, and are in very short supply,” he said.
