Morreale named Lewiston Democrat of the Year

LEWISTON – The Town of Lewiston Democratic Committee has selected Councilman Robin Morreale as the 2016 Democrat of the Year. The annual award recognizes individuals for service and contributions to the Lewiston community.

Morreale will be honored at a brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 17 at the Niagara Falls Country Club, 505 Mountain View Drive, Lewiston. The public is welcome. Reservations can be made and questions answered by calling 754-9545 or 622-6275.

Morreale was elected to the Town Board last November and took office in January. “Rob is doing an outstanding job looking out for the interests of all the people of Lewiston,” said Diane Perri Roberts, town Democratic chairwoman. “Rob is fighting for openness in town government and is a courageous voice in trying to change what in the past was many times, just blind, naked partisanship in Lewiston town government.”

Morreale owns Collision Enterprises, an auto body repair shop in Niagara Falls. He also has served on the board of directors of the Pine Avenue Business Association.
