Masked gunman holds up Niagara Falls liquor store

NIAGARA FALLS – A masked gunman made off with $1,750 after holding up the City Market Liquors store on Pine Avenue at 9:24 p.m. Friday.

Police said that a man wearing black gloves and a black mask over the bottom of his face entered the store and pulled out a silver handgun, demanding money from the cashier. He then fled on foot, eastbound down Pine Avenue.

The robber was described as a white male, about 5-foot-8 with a thin build and wearing black pants and jacket, along with white shoes.
