Paul A. Foley, lawyer was partner in Buffalo law firm

Feb. 23, 1934 – March 27, 2016

Paul A. Foley, an attorney, died Sunday under hospice care in his Williamsville home. He was 82.

Born in Ira, in Cayuga County, he was a graduate of the University of Buffalo. He earned his law degree at UB in 1956 and was managing editor of the Buffalo Law Review.

He served in the Army for two years in the Judge Advocate General Corps.

Mr. Foley maintained law offices in downtown Buffalo, practicing from 1958 to 1996. He was a former partner in the firm of Miserendino, Krull & Foley.

An avid golfer, he was a member and officer of the Transit Valley Country Club.

His wife of 60 years, the former Virginia Jones, died last October.

Survivors include two sons, Brian and Terrance; two brothers, Joseph and Carl; and five grandchildren.

Services were private.
