Man shot on East Side taken to ECMC

A man described by police as being in his early 20’s was taken to the Erie County Medical Center for treatment of an apparently non-life-threatening gun wound he suffered at East Utica Street and Roehrer Avenue about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said the shooting victim got to a French Street home and was taken from there by ambulance to the hospital. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Buffalo Police Confidential TIPCALL Line at 71-847-2255.
