Buffalo suspect arrested in Blasdell and Lackawanna robberies

A 19-year-old Buffalo man allegedly linked to recent armed robberies in Blasdell and Lackawanna hours apart in November was arrested by Buffalo and Blasell police on Bailey and Midway avenues Monday.

David L. Wilson was taken into custody on an indictment warrant by Blasdell Detectives Jamey Mazur and Tim Higgins and Buffalo Lt. Joseph Langdon and Police officer Roberto Becceril, according to Buffalo Police Lt. Joseph A. Gramaglia.

Wilaon is being held on indictments charging him with second-degree robbery for armed robberies in Blasdell and Lackawanna both on Nov. 29. He and Cardiair Jones, 20, of Buffalo and Kiara Melendez, 23, of Depew, are under indictment in both stickups, according to Gramaglia.
