LOCKPORT – The Niagara County Health Department is hoping at least 2,000 county residents respond to its online survey rating their health and listing their biggest health-related concerns.
Public Health Director Daniel J. Stapleton said the survey will be available through April 30 at surveymonkey.com/r/niagaracounty.
Stapleton said as of Thursday, about 300 people had completed the survey, which he said will take five to 10 minutes to fill out. The 31-question survey asks participants what health problems they are most concerned about and tries to determine their level of access to the health care system by asking about insurance status and what prevents them from being healthier.
Stapleton said the survey is state-mandated and last was done in Niagara County three years ago.
