JAMESTOWN – A man and woman were arrested during a drug raid by the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Thursday evening at a Crescent Street apartment.
Task force agents, assisted by the Jamestown Police SWAT team, reported finding a quarter pound of marijuana, two grams of powder cocaine and a quantity of cash and drug paraphernalia during the 7:30 p.m. raid.
Antonio Wiggins, 39, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of controlled substances and fourth-degree criminal possession. Cretia Goldsmith, 54, was charged with second-degree harassment and making unnecessary noise after she allegedly hit one of the task force officers and was reportedly being generally disorderly during the raid. Both were placed in the city jail pending court proceedings.
