Eddie Bauer store returning to Galleria

Eddie Bauer is returning to the Walden Galleria.

The Washington-headquartered chain sells outdoor apparel and gear. It will open a store in the former bebe location, which measures just under 4,000 square feet.

The store will be located on the lower level across from the Cheesecake Factory and Dave & Buster’s. It should be open by June.

Eddie Bauer originally opened a store in the mall in 1989, which was later closed. It has since opened and closed stores at the Eastern Hills and Boulevard malls as well.

Eddie Bauer had been soliciting applications for store managers at Walden Galleria for months, but the mall did not confirm the store was coming until this week.

There is another Eddie Bauer store in the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls, as well as one in the Outlet Collection at Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The mall also unveiled a remodeled Apple store over the weekend.

The store had been under wraps for months as it underwent renovations. Apple had been relocated to a temporary location elsewhere in the mall. The new store has a sleek new look, and was remodeled to fit the company’s latest generation store concept.
