Jamestown man charged with felony drunken driving in Kiantone

KIANTONE – A Jamestown man was charged with felony driving while intoxicated harges after Chautauqua County sheriff deputies were summoned by employees of the Kwik Fill store on Route 60 about 7:42 p.m. Sunday, authorities said.

Jeremy M. Anthony, 37, posted a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 percent, more than twice the state’s legal limit, and was driving with a revoked license because of two previous DWI convictions in the past 10 years, deputies said. He also was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in Mayville without bail pending further proceedings in Kiantone Town Court.
