Bisons lose to RailRiders

The Buffalo Bisons’ exhibition record fell to 1-3 after a 3-0 loss to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders in Tampa on Sunday afternoon.

The bright spot for the Herd was the work of right-handed pitcher Connor Greene, who is considered one of the Toronto Blue Jays’ top prospects. Greene struck out five and allowed one hit with one walk in three innings of work. John Stilson took the loss.

Buffalo only had four singles in the game. Dalton Pompey was 1 for 4 while Rowdy Tellez was 1 for 3 with a walk.

The Bisons, who were rained out on Saturday, will host Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday at 1 p.m.
