Three-time drunken driver pleads guilty to felony

LOCKPORT – A Sanborn man pleaded guilty to a felony count of driving while intoxicated Friday, his third DWI conviction in six years.

Lucas A. Livolsi, 27, of Upper Mountain Road, could go to prison for as long as four years when he is sentenced June 3 by State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr.

Livolsi was arrested July 29 on Ridge Road in Lewiston and refused the breath test. He had previous convictions in Lewiston in 2010 and 2013.

In another case before Kloch Friday, DeAndre M. Mathews, 25, of Niagara Falls, was sentenced to a year in state prison plus a year of post-release supervision for violating his probation on a conviction for fifth-degree sale of a controlled substance – crack cocaine, sold in Lockport in November and December 2012.
