Review: Le Marc Lip Crème lipstick

Putting on lipstick after I finish my foundation has become a staple in my makeup routine. Much like adding frosting to a freshly baked cake, it completes the entire look. So, when I received my free birthday sample of Le Marc Lip Crème lipstick in the shade Kiss Kiss Bang Bang courtesy of Sephora, I was beside myself with joy. (Yes, I love lipstick that much.)

After a quick swatch test on the back of my hand, I could immediately tell this lipstick was extremely pigmented. It didn't take much effort at all to cover my lips with the nude color, so if you're one to go strictly for quality makeup then this is the lipstick for you.

It might have just been my excitement to try the lipstick, but it also felt like the color made my lips appear fuller. Along with this, the staying power was fairly decent, I only had to reapply once throughout the night. Another pro of this lipstick is how moisturized my lips felt after every application. A lot of lipsticks tend to dry out my lips within a few minutes and this one didn't at all.

All in all I didn't really find any cons besides the actual price, which is $30. I'd highly recommend this to anyone hunting for the perfect nude shade to top off a simple makeup look, if that person has some extra cash to spend. After all, every girl needs to own at least one Marc Jacobs item in her lifetime. Comment below and tell me your favorite nude lipstick brands.
