Obstructive bicyclist was carrying drugs, Buffalo police say

A Niagara Street man accused of impeding traffic while riding a bicycle outside bike lanes on Niagara and Pennsylvania street Thursday was carrying cocaine, heroin and a crack pipe, Buffalo police said.

Eduardo Beltran-Ramos, 40, who was arrested about 5:30 p.m., is charged with with fifth- and seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substances, second-degree obstructing administration and obstructing vehicle traffic. He remained in custody on Erie County Holding Center Friday night.
