Hutchinson - Thomas N. Thomas N. Hutchinson of Naples, FL, formerly of Buffalo, NY passed away peacefully on March 6 after a long and spirited fight against cancer. He is predeceased by his loving wife Joan, who we trust greeted him with a big kiss and a very dry martini. Tom credited the Christian Brothers with changing his life by giving him a work/study scholarship to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute and was forever grateful for both the opportunity and life- long friendships which began there. After some time at Canisius College he went to work for WUSJ in Lockport, NY as a DJ. Although the advent of rock and roll -which he refused to play- abruptly ended his promising career, he quickly discovered his love and aptitude for sales with NY Telephone and went on to have a long and successful career in the telecommunication industry. He is survived by his loving son Scott and his devoted daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Ed Lonergan. He was a beloved Bompa to Taryn (John) Hermansen and Cara Lonergan and a Great Bompa to Maxwell John and Theodore Thomas Hermansen. Predeceased by brothers Robert and S Donald, he is survived by his brother Ted (Vicki) and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Family will be present at FULLER
FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, March 19th from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St Williams RC Church, 601 Seagate Dr, Naples FL. Immediately following the mass friends are invited to a celebration of Tom's life at his home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation in his memory to St Joseph's Collegiate Institute, 845 Kenmore Ave., Kenmore, NY 14223. Online condolences may be made by visiting
