Combine measurables: 6-foot-3, 271 pounds.

Combine stats: 40-yard dash: 4.59 seconds. Bench press: 23 reps. Vertical jump: 34 inches. Broad jump: 9 feet, 11 inches.

Career stats: 44 games, 138 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries.

Draft projection: Third-fourth round.

Lowdown: Tapper earned All-America honorable-mention honors from Sports Illustrated after starting all 13 games as a senior in 2015. He was also named to the All-Big 12 first team by the league’s coaches, the Associated Press and, … After a down junior year, Tapper rebounded in 2015 with 50 tackles, seven sacks and four forced fumbles. … Impressive showing at the NFL Scouting Combine showed the physical tools coaches will be excited to mold. … Tapper has long arms (34∂ inches) and the ideal frame to play the five-technique defensive end spot on early downs.
