LOCKPORT – A three-time drunken driver avoided prison Wednesday, but got a tongue-lashing from State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr.
“You’re a train wreck,” Kloch barked at Christopher A. Clancey, 32, of Harrison Avenue, Lockport, before placing him on five years’ probation and imposed $1,605 in fines and fees. Clancey also must wear an alcohol-detecting ankle monitor for up to a year.
Clancey pleaded guilty to a felony count of driving while intoxicated after an April 29 minor traffic accident in the City of Lockport. It was Clancey’s third DWI in a 12-year period. Kloch said police found several empty beer cans and marijuana residue in Clancey’s vehicle.
