LOCKPORT – The Town of Lockport Planning Board approved an enlarged Noco store at 6233 S. Transit Road Tuesday.
The plan is to tear down the existing 1,500-square-foot Noco convenience store at the busy gas station, and replace it with a 5,500-square-foot building that would be large enough to house a Tim Hortons or a similar food franchise. A separate automated car wash would be erected, covering 925 square feet.
Noco attorney Sean W. Hopkins said both the store and the car wash are likely to operate around the clock. He said the work will begin “as soon as possible” and the new store will be open this year.
