2 brothers charged after Tonawanda house party

Two brothers, one 16 and the other 17, of Wall Street in the City of Tonawanda were charged late Saturday with endangering the welfare of a child and giving alcohol to minors after hosting a party while their parents were out of town, City of Tonawanda police reported.

A third youth, age 17, was charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest after fighting with officers outside the house where the party occurred, police said. That youth was taken to DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda because of what police described as his “highly intoxicated state.”

A total of 22 people inside the home were issued summonses for underage alcohol drinking, and their parents were notified, police said.
