The driver, Jay E. Head, 39, of Uniontown, Ohio, was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Deputies said they tried to stop Head at about 5:42 a.m. but he did not comply and instead led authorities on a lengthy chase across several roads.
