Debates are so offensive viewers should be warned
When the next Republican candidates’ debate is broadcast, the network should display a warning: “The following program is rated R: crude, vulgar, offensive and demeaning language may be used.”
It is hard to believe that candidates who claim to be “conservative” and “Christian” use such language in public. It is certainly “unpresidential,” unless, of course, they take as their model that famous Republican president, Richard Nixon. His crude and offensive language – including some very original sexually charged vulgarities – has been preserved for all time (and for universal opprobrium) in his Oval Office tape recordings. Any candidate who speaks, and thinks, like that is not worthy of our vote.
