Falls man pleads guilty to DWI felony

LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man pleaded guilty Friday to a felony count of driving while intoxicated.

Patrick A. Bauer, 34, of 15th Street, downed “four nor five beers” before driving in Wheatfield July 11, he told State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. Kloch could send Bauer to prison for as long as four years when he returns to court May 6.

In another case Friday, Kloch scheduled sentencing June 3 for another DWI felon, who violated probation by moving from Niagara County to Erie County without his probation officer’s permission in September 2014.

Richard E. Jaworski Jr., 43, of Chaplin Drive, Town of Tonawanda, a former Hartland resident, also risks a four-year prison term. Jaworski pleaded guilty in January 2013 to driving drunk in Hartland on June 26, 2012.
