A four-car rear-end accident in the 900 block of Fillmore Avenue late Thursday morning remained under investigation by Buffalo police Thursday evening.
Police Spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said the 53-year-old driver who allegedly caused the multi-vehicle accident may have suffered a medical condition that sparked the crash. The woman was driving south on Fillmore nearing Sycamore Avenue about 10:45 a.m. when she struck one parked vehicle and then rear-ended a vehicle in front of her in the traffic lane, police said.
. That vehicle then rear-ended another vehicle, according to DeGeorge. All four drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the crash remains under investigation.
