A local investment group that includes a retired West Seneca police officer is converting a former car dealership in that town into a self-storage facility.
Orchard Park Road Storage LLC, led by managing partner and former officer Bart Adams, bought the former Best Dodge property at 1510 Orchard Park Road last fall and is renovating the facility. The group partnered with Best Brothers Development to manage redevelopment and marketing, which will be fully fenced with surveillance cameras and a code-access entry system.
When completed, within the next two to three weeks, the building will contain 70 indoor units, in addition to about 70 outside units that were already on the property, said Adams’ son, Brian, who will oversee the operation.
Besides Adams, the other principal of the investor group is developer Paul Stephen, president of Stephen Development Properties in Clarence.
