ROYALTON — A homeowner in the 4500 block of Royalton Center Road said he and his family were awakened on Wednesday morning when a large rock was thrown through a bay window.
The victim said it happened after 3 a.m. while they were sleeping. He said the loud crash woke them up. Two out of three panes in the bay window, as well as part of the window frame, were damaged. The rock also left two gouges in the wall. The large stone weighed several pounds, according to deputies. A second stone, about the same size, was located outside at the base of the window.
