Buffalo man pleads guilty to crack cocaine charge

A Buffalo man faces a maximum of 30 years in prison and a $2 million fine after he pleaded guilty Wednesday to cocaine possession with the intent to sell.

Morrell Buster, 43, was charged after he was found in possession of three grams of crack cocaine July 17, 2014, while at the Niagara Outlet Mall in the Town of Niagara. According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy C. Lynch, Buster purchased and then distributed the drug between June 2013 and Feb. 25, 2014.

After reaching a plea agreement, Buster Wednesday pleaded guilty before Senior U.S. District Court Judge William M. Skretny, before whom Buster is scheduled to be sentenced on June 22.
