Promoters of hate speech put region in ugly position
I doubt that I’m the only person who has drawn a correlation between the front-page story of the radio “personality” profiled in the March 6 News and the story regarding Buffalo’s ugly positioning in the Twittersphere relative to racist and homophobic tweets. The featured “personality’s” local radio station has long been a carrier of hate speech, both by nationally known talkers and hometown hack wannabes, which most likely contributes to our city’s “winning” this contest.
Take a look at the vitriolic comments that undoubtedly will follow this letter in the online comments section. I won’t, because I refuse to waste a second of my life reading, or for that matter, listening to, people’s misguided bitterness.
