LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man who broke into an apartment building in 2014 was sentenced Tuesday to five years probation, but he must serve the first six months in the Niagara County Jail.
State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. imposed the sentence on Martin Sheehan, 41, of Zito Drive. He had pleaded guilty last fall to a reduced felony charge of attempted second-degree burglary. While on probation, Sheehan must attend Niagara Falls Drug Court.
Sheehan entered another apartment on Zito Drive on June 30, 2014, reportedly engaging an 11-year-old boy to help him.
