State Police charged a Buffalo man with having a blood-alcohol level more than double the legal limit after a traffic stop on Saturday.
Aramis J. Figueroa, 43, was stopped on the I-190 at about 3:45 a.m. for multiple traffic violations. He was found to be in possession of cocaine and at the police barracks registered a blood-alcohol content of .19 percent, more than twice the limit of .08 percent.
Figueroa was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and multiple traffic violations, State Police said.
He was arraigned in Buffalo City Court and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $5,000 bail.
