A boy playing with children outside Commodore Perry public housing complex about 4:30 p.m. Saturday was struck by a car at Perry and Louisiana streets, according to neighbors.
The unidentified boy was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, the neighbors said. His condition was not immediately available.
Damaris Ramos, a resident of the housing complex, said she did not see the accident but witnessed the aftermath.
“I was crossing the street and I saw a whole bunch of cars ... and the kid was right here on the pavement,” she gestured. “A lady was holding him, because he was too hurt.”
Buffalo firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
