Actor Kiefer Sutherland will show another part of his creative side when he performs a concert at 8 p.m. May 16 in Buffalo Iron Works (49 Illinois St.).
At the concert, expect to hear material from his soon-to-be released album "Down In A Hole," which features 11 songs Sutherland has said are "the closest thing I've ever had to a journal or diary."
"All of these songs are pulled from my own personal experiences," he said in a statement. "There is something very satisfying about being able to look back on my own life, good times and bad, and express those sentiments in music. As much as I have enjoyed the writing and recording process, I am experiencing great joy now being able to play these songs to a live audience, which was something I hadn’t counted on.”
The Emmy and Golden Globe winning "24" actor is currently starring in "Forsaken" with his father, Donald Sutherland.
Tickets are $20 advance, $25 day of show. Visit buffaloironworks.com or ticketfly.com.
