Cheektowaga woman gets 15 months for dealing coke

A Cheektowaga woman convicted of distributing cocaine was sentenced to 15 months in prison Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth Wolford.

Ashley Marie Gnocchini, 29, was arrested in 2010 after she and co-defendant Ricky Lee Pyzikiewicz were pulled over by Orchard Park and Hamburg police and found to be in possession of cocaine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Catherine Baumgarten said a subsequent search of Pyzikiewicz’s home on Maurice Street in Buffalo turned up baggies containing cocaine and marijuana, as well as a rifle and ammunition.

Gnocchini’s sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Orchard Park Police and Hamburg Police.

Pyzikiewicz, who was convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and being felon in possession of a firearm, will be sentenced in May.
