Buffalo State: In men’s basketball, Lovell Smith (McKinley) was selected second-team all-SUNYAC and Michael Henry and Nico McLean (Amherst) were named to the third team. Smith, a junior, averaged 17 points and six rebounds while shooting .549 percent from the field. Henry, a sophomore, averaged 15.2 points and 8.5 rebounds and McLean, a junior, averaged 14.7 points and seven rebounds. … In women’s basketball, Britt Perry (Hutch-Tech) and Keyonte Edwards (O’Hara) were named third-team all-SUNYAC. Perry, a senior, averaged 15.8 points and led the Bengals with 91 assists and 77 steals. Edwards, a sophomore, ranked fourth in the conference at nine rebounds per game and averaged 11.5 points.

Daemen: Mackenzie Donahue (East Aurora) set meet records in the 3,000 meters (10:18.72) and the 500 meters (17:30.18) at the East Coast Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships in Staten Island. The performances earned all-region status from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Daemen tied for fourth as a team. … In men’s basketball, the Wildcats (18-9, 14-6) have the No. 2 seed heading into their first appearance in the ECC Tournament this weekend. … In women’s basketball, senior Raeann Stilwell finished her career as the school’s all-time leader in three-point field goals (243).

SUNY Maritime: Patrick MacDonald (Canisius) was named first-team Skyline Conference in basketball. MacDonald, a sophomore, averaged 16 points and 10.1 rebounds. He also set school season marks for rebounds (253) and offensive rebounds (98). Maritime was 8-17 overall, 8-12 in conference.
