Sabres recall Catenacci, O'Reilly; Bailey sent back to Rochester

Dan Catenacci's last game with the Sabres resulted in him leaving the ice with a concussion. He has a chance to leave the next one on his own.

Buffalo has recalled Catenacci and Cal O'Reilly from Rochester, with one or both expected in the lineup Tuesday when the Sabres host Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers in First Niagara Center. The Sabres sent O'Reilly and fellow forward Justin Bailey to the Amerks on Monday in order for them to be eligible for the AHL playoffs, and General Manager Tim Murray opted to bring back Catenacci rather than Bailey.

Catenacci has appeared in three games with the Sabres this season. The final one featured a charging hit from Philadelphia's Radko Gudas that put Catenacci on the sidelines for a week. O'Reilly has appeared in five games for the Sabres and was a healthy scratch during the three-game swing through California last week.
