A 37-year-old Buffalo man was sentenced to four years in prison for selling heroin to an undercover investigator three times last fall.
Jose Pesante of Maryland Street pleaded guilty in January to three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree. In addition to the jail time, State Supreme Court Justice Christopher Burns ordered three years post-release supervision. Pesante has a prior felony drug conviction from 2009.
Assistant District Attorney Paul J. Williams III prosecuted the case.
