Genesee County Jail inmate about to be released faces new drug charges

BATAVIA – A Bergen man who is an inmate of Genesee County Jail was accused Wednesday of selling heroin to an undercover agent of the Genesee County Drug ask Force recently.

Ryan M. Bobzin, 27, is charged with three counts each of third-degree criminal possession and sale and seventh-degree possession of controlled substances. Bobzin, who was close to being released from jail in an unrelated case, was ordered by Bergen Town Justice Robert Swapceinski to remain jailed in lieu of $25,000 cash bail. The Genesee County District Attorney’s Office and Genesee County Sheriff’s deputies assisted the Task Force.
