Four-time NT drunken driver goes to jail

LOCKPORT – A North Tonawanda man was imprisoned Wednesday on his fourth felony driving while intoxicated conviction.

Christopher C. Sprigg, 43, of Ohio Street, drew 18 months behind bars and a $3,000 fine from State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. Sprigg was arrested Sept. 9 in North Tonawanda, and the arrest constituted a violation of the probation sentence he was serving for a 2012 Erie County DWI charge.

In another DWI case, Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon imposed a one-year jail term on Justin Kopp, 33, of the Town of Lockport, who violated probation for a felony DWI conviction stemming from a June 9, 2012, arrest in the City of Lockport.
