Coco offers Leap Day dinner with Community Beer

Since Leap Day only comes once every four years, Coco has a special bid for your dinner attention on Feb. 29.

Coco, 888 Main St., is offering a four-course dinner from Chef Conor Casey, with beer pairings from Community Beer Works, 15 Lafayette Ave.

Yes, that includes a beer dessert, in this case, a cardamom ice cream float made with The Whale. CBW's hefty American brown ale is made with - you guessed it - chocolate malt.

It's $60, plus tax and tip, and starts at 6:30 p.m. For reservations, call 885-1885.

"Smooze bouche" (Frank American Pale Ale)

Bacon, cheddar, smoked beer mussels (Smoke)

Pheasant risotto (That IPA)

Duck and foie gras sausage, caramelized onions, brioche (Pantomime Horse)

Float The Whale, cardamom ice cream (The Whale)
