Troopers: Lockport woman had 0.17 BAC

LOCKPORT – A Lockport woman was charged Sunday with a drunken driving for having a blood-alcohol content of more than twice the legal limit, State Police said.

Tammy Kathke, 46, was charged with driving while intoxicated, drinking alcohol in a vehicle and driving without a license after someone reported to authorities there was a drunk driver trying to leave a Dysinger Road parking lot.

Kathke registered a BAC of 0.17 percent, more than double the legal limit of 0.08 percent, State Police said. She was issued tickets and is scheduled to appear in Lockport Town Court on Thursday.
