Falconer man who backed car into ditch arrested for DWI

FREWSBURG – A 52-year-old Falconer man who allegedly backed his car into a ditch Sunday was charged by State Police with drunken driving.

David J. Huber was found in his car in a ditch off N. Pearl Street here. After testing he was found to have a blood-alcohol level of 0.20 percent, more than twice the state’s legal limit. Huber, who claimed he accidentally drove backwards into a ditch was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and unsafe backing of his vehicle. He was ordered to appear in Carroll Town Court in several weeks after he was picked up by a friend.
